Google Ads or Meta Ads: where should your first rupee go?
Intent versus discovery, and why most local brands need both, in a specific order.
People on Google are already looking. Someone typing "3BHK flats near Kokapet" has a need today. People on Instagram are scrolling. They didn't ask for you, but they can be made to want you.
Start with intent
If people already search for what you sell, Google Search usually brings the most serious enquiries. Bid on the exact problems your buyers type, send them to a page that answers that one search, and track every call and form.
Then build demand
Meta Ads work best when a product has to be seen to be wanted: a new villa project, a clinic launch, a festive offer. Short video and carousels do the persuading that a search ad can't.
Our rule of thumb
Capture the demand that already exists first, then spend to create more. Check cost per lead every week, not once a month.
