Planning

Plan Diwali in September: a festive calendar that works

Festive posts that go out late get lost. This is how we plan the season early.

Every brand posts on the festival day itself, which is exactly when your post is least likely to be seen. The brands that win the season start talking weeks earlier.

Work backwards from the date

List the festivals that matter to your audience, then plan three moments for each: a teaser, the offer or story, and a thank-you after. Book shoots and creatives a month ahead.

Give people a reason

A greeting is polite. An offer, a gift guide or a story about your customers is useful, and useful gets shared.

Keep budget aside

Ad costs climb in festive weeks as everyone competes. Fix your spend early and push the post that is already performing, not a new untested one.
